Structure, performance and principle of melt metering pump
Melt metering pump is a kind of gear pump, which is mainly used with rubber and plastic extrusion equipment to transport, pressurize and measure high temperature and high viscosity polymer melt. Zhengzhou Bart provides melt metering pump models from 0.5cc to 12000cc, which can meet the production needs of many plastic extrusion production lines. The structure, performance and working principle of the melt metering pump are described below.
The melt metering pump is composed of the following parts: main pump body, front cover plate, rear cover plate, 2 pairs of D-type shaft sleeve, driving shaft, driven shaft and seal. It is usually sealed by spiral + cold water ring, with good sealing effect. The working principle of melt metering pump: the gear is driven by the motor to realize the stable and uniform transmission of medium; the flow of melt metering pump is precisely controlled by the speed control of the motor. If the melt metering pump is applied in the extruder production line, it can ensure the stable melt conveying and reduce the impact of melt pressure fluctuation on the die head; after the melt metering pump is adopted in the extrusion production line, it can effectively increase the overall production capacity of the extruder production line; reduce the back pressure of the extruder, thus reducing the medium residence time in the extruder, so that the whole plasticizing process can To become more stable.
