What are the installation steps for the extruder specific melt pump
1. When lifting the extruder melt pump of series ZB-100CC and above, eyebolts should be used.
2. Before installation, check if all components of the extruder melt pump are ready and if there are any parts that have not been received.

3. Prepare a steel frame platform for installing the melt pump. After the installation of the pump body on the steel frame platform, it must be fixed to the ground or other reliable mechanisms with expansion bolts to ensure that the melt pump will not overturn the platform due to excessive torque during rotation, resulting in safety accidents.
4. During operation, the extruder melt pump shaft rotates clockwise to determine the outlet and inlet, or the rotation direction steel seal mark on the melt pump can be seen. After the melt pump is installed in place, tighten the bolts and connect the flanges connecting the inlet and outlet on the left and right sides. After fixing the melt pump, the pump shaft can be connected to the reducer using a universal coupling. (Note: It should be ensured that the pump shaft of the melt pump rotates correctly, otherwise it may cause input shaft fracture and pump body damage)

5. The base of the extruder melt pump installation should be flat and have sufficient strength and rigidity. Before installation, use a measuring tool to check and adjust the concentricity between the pump seat and the motor drive shaft. Under the condition of evenly tightening the foundation bolts, it should be ensured that the input shaft can rotate uniformly without jamming.
6. The installation error of the universal coupling should not exceed its allowable deviation value, and the deviation value should be less than 3 degrees. To avoid causing additional force and shorten the lifespan of the melt pump shaft.

7. After the installation of the melt pump body, correctly install the front and rear pressure sensors and temperature sensors. When installing and tightening the pressure sensor, do not torque too much to avoid damaging the sensor.
8. After installation, it is necessary to check whether there is lubricating oil in the reducer before leaving the factory. If not, lubricating oil must be added to start the melt pump to avoid gear damage due to lack of lubrication in the reducer. The lubrication system of the melt pump requires the use of transported materials as lubricants, so it is strictly prohibited to idle without material for a long time.

9. For melt pumps that use packing sealing, the position of the sealing gland should be adjusted in a timely manner to ensure a good sealing state. For pumps that use other forms of sealing, the sealing assembly should be regularly inspected and vulnerable parts should be replaced in a timely manner.
