Solution to overload of melt pump motor
During the operation of the melt pump, occasional challenges and difficulties may arise, such as motor overload. We have conducted a thorough analysis of the causes of this issue and summarized corresponding strategies to help users better understand and respond.
When the density or viscosity of the medium sucked in by the melt pump is too high, the motor may be overloaded. At this point, we can restore the normal operation of the motor by adjusting the specific gravity or viscosity of the medium to meet the working requirements of the pump.
If the pressure difference of the outlet filter is too large, it will also cause the motor to bear excessive load. We should regularly inspect and clean the outlet filter to ensure that it is unobstructed and provides a stable working environment for the motor.
