The following is an introduction to common parameters of high-temperature melt gear pumps:
1、 Temperature parameters
Operating temperature: Generally, the temperature range for high-temperature melt gear pumps is around 300 ℃ -350 ℃. Some special material pumps can be used at temperatures up to 510 ℃.
Cleaning temperature: The cleaning temperature is usually higher than the operating temperature, usually between 450 ℃ and 590 ℃, to ensure that residual materials in the pump can be thoroughly removed.
2、 Pressure parameters
Inlet pressure: The inlet pressure generally varies between vacuum (-0.05~-0.08 MPa) and 30 MPa, and usually 3-5 MPa can meet most working conditions. However, high viscosity fluids may require higher inlet pressure. Sometimes, in order to enhance the mixing effect of the molten material inside the extrusion screw, the inlet pressure may be appropriately increased.
Export pressure: Its export pressure can usually be between 0 and 40Mpa, and some special working conditions require high export pressure. For example, the outlet pressure of the H series high-temperature and high-pressure melt pump can reach 50Mpa, which can meet its needs.
Differential pressure: The differential pressure of a regular melt pump can reach 20Mpa, while the differential pressure of a high-pressure melt pump can reach 35Mpa.
3、 Traffic parameters
Specifications and Flow Range: The specifications of high-temperature melt gear pumps come in multiple grades from small to large, with flow ranges ranging from 0.05cc to 30000cc. Common specifications include 1cc, 2cc, 5cc, 10cc, 20cc, 31.5cc, 50cc, 100cc, 150cc, 200cc, 315cc, 500cc, 800cc, 1200cc, 2500cc, etc.
Flow stability: The high-temperature and high-pressure melt pump maintains stable flow at high viscosity and high pressure without any outlet pressure fluctuations, ensuring stable flow of the melt during transportation and ensuring production stability and product quality.
4、 Viscosity parameters
The high-temperature melt gear pump can handle a wide range of medium viscosity, generally between 1 and 4000 Pa · s (1000 to 4000000 cp), and even up to 20000 Pa · s, which can meet the transportation needs of various high viscosity fluids.
5、 Material parameters
Pump body material: Common materials include tool steel, nitride steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, etc. These materials have characteristics such as high temperature resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, which can ensure the stable operation of the pump body in high temperature and high pressure environments.
Gear material: Tool steel, titanium tantalum alloy, Hastelloy alloy, imported tool steel, nitriding steel and other materials can be selected, and multiple material options can be provided according to different working conditions and customer needs to ensure the strength, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the gear.
Bearing materials: generally tool steel, stainless steel+coating, corrosion-resistant alloys, etc., have good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and can adapt to working environments under high temperature and high pressure.
Shaft seal material: Common shaft seal methods include spiral mechanical seal, packing seal, combination seal, etc. The shaft seal material needs to have good sealing performance and high temperature resistance to prevent melt leakage.
