How does the reactor kettle melt pump work and its advantageous characteristics
The reactor kettle melt pump is particularly suitable for high-temperature, high viscosity polymer melt reaction transportation that requires high output pressure, such as resin, chemical fiber and other industries. The following is a detailed explanation of its working principle and characteristics:
1、 Working principle
The working principle of the reactor kettle melt pump is based on the design of a positive displacement pump. Through the precise meshing of the main and driven gears, the working volume is changed to complete the transportation of the melt. Specifically, when the gear rotates in the specified direction, the melt enters the tooth grooves of the two gears in the feeding area. As the gear rotates, the melt is brought into the feeding area from both sides. The re meshing of the gears causes the molten material in the tooth groove to be squeezed out of the discharge area and pressed into the outlet pipeline. As long as the pump shaft rotates, the gear presses the melt towards the outlet side, so the pump outlet can reach a high pressure.
2、 Characteristics
High adaptability: The reactor kettle melt pump can be applied to high temperature (350 ℃), medium high pressure (15MPa), and high viscosity (20000Pa · s) working conditions to meet specific process requirements.
Stable flow rate: With minimal pressure and flow pulsation, it can achieve near linear output of flow rate, making it easy to control.
Good self-priming performance: It can be applied to working conditions where the inlet is vacuum (-0.05~-0.09MPa), allowing high viscosity media to be smoothly sucked in under vacuum conditions, completing the transportation and pressurization of polymer materials.
Precision structure: The pump body is made of various materials, such as stainless steel, alloy steel, corrosion-resistant alloys, etc. There are also multiple options for gear materials, such as nitride steel, tool steel, etc., to adapt to different media and working environments. Meanwhile, its sealing structure includes melt dynamic seal+packing seal, high-temperature resistant packing seal, etc., ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the pump. In addition, it also has the characteristics of high precision and long lifespan.
Wide parameter range: The viscosity range of the conveying medium is 1~40000Pa · s (1000~4000000cP), the inlet pressure range is vacuum (-0.05~-0.09MPa)~5.0MPa, the outlet pressure range is 0~15MPa, and the operating temperature does not exceed 350 ℃.
