Melt gear pump core technology principle

Melt gear pump belongs to external gear pump, its working principle is based on the gear meshing movement to realize the melt transport and measurement, is currently more widely used a pump, its working process is mainly as follows:

1, inhalation process: when the active gear and the driven gear in the motor drive in a certain direction of rotation, the teeth of the two gears in the suction chamber gradually disengaged meshing, so that the volume of the suction chamber increases, the formation of a local vacuum. Under the action of atmospheric pressure, the melt is sucked into the suction chamber and filled in the groove of the gear teeth.

2, conveying process: as the gear continues to rotate, inhaled into the groove of the melt by the teeth of the wheel to the discharge chamber. In this process, due to the meshing effect of the gears, the melt in the tooth groove is forced forward, like a spoon to scoop up water, the volume of melt carried by each tooth groove is basically fixed, so the melt pump can also be used for metering.

3, discharge process: when the gear teeth into the discharge chamber, the teeth gradually meshed, so that the melt in the tooth groove is squeezed, the volume of the discharge chamber decreases, the melt pressure rises, so that the melt from the discharge chamber discharged to the pump's outlet pipeline, transported to the next link.
