Analysis of Thermal Characteristics of Multi-channel Melt Gear Pump
When the multi-channel melt gear pump is used to transport high temperature and high pressure media, the thermal characteristics (temperature field, thermal stress and thermal deformation) of the driving gear and the driven wheel are important technical indicators that affect the transmission quality of the gear.
According to the meshing mathematical equation of the involute gear, the finite element 3D model of the driving gear and the driven wheel is established. According to the partial differential equation of heat conduction and the definite solution conditions, it is feasible to establish the steady state temperature field of the driving gear and the driven wheel.
